Well, here are some of the things I just sort of sketched for Auramon. I can digitalize them, but digital art is not my strong point. If these are accepted, and if someone would like to digitalize it, that would be great.

CHARACTER DESIGNS

Left: girl
Right: boy

I was thinking the girl could be a technician, sort of like what Scott was in Geomon. The guy could be a Rusty or whatever, though he doesn't exactly look friendly. Facial expressions can change, though, heheh.

BACKGROUND DESIGNS

Top left: Water battle
Bottom left: Earth battle
Top right: Air battle
Bottom right: Fire battle

You'll have to really use your imagination for these, but I hope they are good enough to give you a good, solid image of what I'm trying to do. I might digitalize these myself if they are acceptable.

The sizes of these are probably off, but I can always crop/enlarge part of the picture to fit the dimensions.

So, what do you guys think? Do you have any constructive criticism for me?

Wow, these look really good - well done!

Maybe they could be a little less... vague, but as these are just sketches that doesn't matter so much. I don't see anything wrong with the character sketches.. we should digitalise them. I like the background designs, especially the water and fire. The earth and air seem quite empty, maybe you could add some clouds in the air one or something

You draw very well - keep up the good work!

I tried to digitalize the fire background, but it's not exactly... pretty, you know?

I think the bottom one is better :<

Compare the background at the top in both pictures. The top one looks icy, while the bottom one seems more fiery.

Yes, I guess that top is indeed marginally better. Even though it is less red, it is more steamy, suiting a fiery landscape.

Cool (pun not intended, I promise), thanks! Though you can always edit it.

I was thinking, maybe you can use stock photos for the backgrounds? Or do you think it would be better for the backgrounds to be drawn?

Landscaping and human drawing aren't what I draw best, so if you see a cool drawing (that can be used) you can consider that. I didn't submit any auramon because I didn't think you guys needed anymore. ^^

What do you mean by stock photos? Also, there are still a bunch of espers that need to be drawn - obeonix's phoenixes and flame's starters, to name a few. And if we are implementing evolution, we need at least three designs for each Auramon, not including all of the personas. $:-\$
